Isolation Roof Shingles Tennessee Williams Films?

Tennessee Williams Films? - isolation roof shingles

To my Adv Arts and Humanities class, I must write an essay comparing two of the film of Tennessee Williams. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and The Glass Menagerie. The directions say such words to use as a springboard for reflection:

* Escape
* Isolation of male
* The desperation of the women
* Money
* Southern Tradition
* Denial
* Symbolism

I do not know where to start and honestly I was not interested in the movie. Please help me.

Symbolism - The Glass Menagerie is the symbol of the universe and the nature of its fragility.
The Southern Tradition: The road to Tom's mother is the ideal role for their children. Gender roles in "Cat"
Denial of reality: the mother of Tom in Glass Menagerie. The denial of sexuality in "cat ..."
Price: Despair for them in "glass"
Despeartion / Female: Tom Mom again!
Escape: the decision by Tom
Insulation / Male: Tom still hope "Glass" sex in "Cat"
